Such Stuff As Dreams Are Made On (June 2015)- performer in an ensemble play featuring excerpts of Shakespeare, showing at the Scottish Storytelling Centre. Laura’s characters included Emilia (Othello), Viola (Twelfth Night) and Bottom as Pyramus (Midsummer Night’s Dream).
The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (January 2015) – monologue performance, as Jean Brodie, in Discover 21 Theatre, Edinburgh.
NHS Short films (December 2014) – voiceover work for three education animations for NHS Scotland.
Laura Anderson took Advanced Actors Training workshops at the Edinburgh Acting School from August 2014 to October 2015.
Other relevant training includes Introduction to Accents at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Drama Higher, improvisation workshops, stage fighting, beginners ballet, various languages (beginners Japanese & Italian, intermediate French), music (rhythm guitar, piano, ukulele, percussion), and screenwriting (postgraduate Masters degree and various masterclasses specialising in character and dialogue).
Laura has excellent memorisation skills, a keen interest in research, a natural Scottish accent, an ear for voices, and short red hair.
